What you see now, is the dining table, hmmmm, i'm getting hungry already ;p...
This is what is called: The Kitchen. Is that a big cake standing on the little table???

Inside the fridge... OMG, is that a secret way down?! Where does that lead?!

Okay, all good and well, but, there are also MONSTERS in minecraft... o.O
Let me show you:
This guy is the most shown monster, it is called: Zombie :p
This one is also shown often, this is: The Creeper... Don't get to close... (This guy is like some kind of terrorist, it EXPLODES itself...)
This beastie is The Spider, I hate him the most, he climbs onto your house, and jumps on you before you can even notice him...
This is the Skeleton, he shoots arrows against you...
This one is called The Slime, he can be very little, but he can be huge also, they come out of Slime-Pools...
Now come the Nether-monters, The Nether is a kind of hell-world... You can only reach that world if you go trough the NetherGate...
This "cute" thing is called The Ghast, he shoots fireballs in your direction o.O..
This guy won't attack you directly, only if you show any threat, he will defend itself...
